According to Aditya Babbar, Senior Director and Head, Mobile Marketing, Samsung India, the growth in the first half was driven by three very important factors.

“The first was a very successful launch of the ‘S’ series. Second, the highly successful A series and third, the M series (Galaxy M33 and M53) have done well,” he told IANS.

“The other big thing is that we have targeted $1 billion in revenue from the M series this year (calendar year 2022). Overall, the M series will be a very powerful series,” Babbar said.

The company on Thursday announced the launch of Galaxy M13 5G and Galaxy M13, the latest additions to the popular Galaxy M series.

Babbar said, “We are even more confident with the Galaxy M13 coming into the market. In the Rs 10,000 to Rs 40,000 price point where the Galaxy M series is present, we have a value market share of 21.4 per cent this year (January) from last year. -May) has become 26.9 percent.”
