‘Such surveys will harm India’s image in the world’
PCI said, “This is very unfortunate and clearly shows the action taken in retaliation after the documentary on Gujarat riots aired by BBC.” He said that we are deeply concerned and troubled by such action on the International Broadcasting Organization as it will damage India’s reputation and image as the world’s largest democracy.
PCI has demanded the government to restrain such agencies from misusing power to intimidate the media and curb the freedom of the press.
