In the Mangolpuri area of Delhi, on the night of Saturday, March 18, police have taken action in the case of assaulting a woman and forcing her to sit inside a car in the middle of a busy road. The viral video has been traced and the woman is being questioned. Delhi Police said that they have traced the vehicle as well as the driver, the woman and the accused involved in the incident.
On Saturday, a person uploaded the video and asked the officials to help the woman.

In the purported video of the incident, it is seen that the man is holding the woman by her clothes and pulling her towards the car. Even after she protests, he pushes her inside the car. After making him sit inside the car, that person and his friend are also seen going inside the car.
DCP (Outer) Harendra Singh said the car was an Uber cab and a team was sent to Gurgaon’s Ratan Vihar to find the driver.
He said, “The driver took us to the woman and her friend. The woman is being interrogated and her statement will be recorded. Accordingly, legal action will be initiated against that youth.
Meanwhile, the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) has sent a notice to the Delhi Police demanding action in the matter. DCW chief Swati Maliwal posted a tweet which said, “Taking cognizance of this viral video of a woman being forcibly thrashed in a vehicle… I am issuing a notice to the Delhi Police. The commission will ensure strict action against these people.

The girl works as an accountant and the boy has a flour mill. DCP said that counseling and medical of the woman is being done. After this, action will be taken according to the statement of the woman.
