Police recovered Amritpal’s car
The Punjab Police has recovered the car which was used by Amritpal Singh to flee. Police have recovered 315 bore pistol, sword and walkie-talkie from the car. Police seized the car from Salima village of Jalandhar.
‘Amritpal was building an army named AKF’
The Punjab Police claimed that Amritpal Singh was trying to set up a private army called the Anandpur Khalsa Force, and that they found several weapons seized during the operation with ‘AKF’ written on them.
According to media reports, a case will be registered against Amritpal Singh under NSA and NIA will investigate the whole matter.
Search campaign intensified, police did flag march
The police is continuously running the operation regarding the arrest of Amritpal Singh. The security system on the border has been increased. Vehicles are being checked and flag marches have also been done by the police in Ludhiana and Jalandhara.
Meanwhile, the Punjab Police has warned against fake news and speeches being spread on social media regarding the crackdown on Amritpal Singh and his associates by police and security forces.
